Power in Weakness 2 Corinthians & the Ministry of Paul

Have you ever wondered if sacrifice and dying to self are really worth it? In his letter of Second Corinthians the apostle Paul opens wide his heart to his Corinthian brothers and sisters and to us. He exposes his pain, shares his personal moments of despair, and allows us to enter the world of his own temptations. All of this vulnerability has a purpose: to show us how God works through tough times, how he uses our weaknesses, and how in Christ there is always hope to be prepared for the next challenge.

About the author: Dr. Marty Wooten served in the ministry for over thirty years and was involved in teaching and preaching in many churches both nationally and internationally. He earned a BA in biblical studies, a Masters of Divinity, a Masters of Theology, and a Doctorate in Ministry. He now lives in Madisonville, Louisiana with his wife, Cathy. Marty and Cathy have three adult children, Cristen, Catherine, and Michael.
