We titled this book “Do You See This Woman?” after a quote from Jesus in an interaction between Jesus and a woman (Luke 7:44). When Jesus interacted with women, he saw deep below the surface. He saw their soul, their value, their talent, their heart, their personhood, their future. If you’re seeking, you will see not only the women, but you will see a more complete image of Jesus. If you’re willing, you may get a glimpse of how loved, cherished, valued, priceless, and integral you are in the eyes of Jesus. We pray that you, reader, will see Jesus through this book.

About the authors:

Chelsea Novack has served in the ministry for fifteen years. She has been married to her best friend, Rob Novack, for thirteen years. Together they have two amazing boys. Chelsea and her husband currently lead the South Coastal region of the Boston Church of Christ. 

Chelsea is an advocate for women’s ministry who is passionate about studying the Bible with women and training women in the ministry. She has been teaching and speaking on Jesus and women in the Bible for years. She loves reading, running, and relaxing in her cozy New England house with her three boys and their sweet dog, Maxie.

G. Steve Kinnard works as the educational director for CHORD Leadership Center. He has served in the ministry for over five decades. Steve and his wife, Leigh, have been married since 1981.

Steve has published over twenty books, including two novels and his own translation of the Greek New Testament into English, entitled The King Jesus Translation. He is the editor of Teleios, a scholarly journal dedicated to holistic Christian spirituality. He also serves as the Dean of Bible and Ministry for Mountain Theological Seminary. Steve loves reading novels, writing anything, listening to music, walking in nature, and spending time with his family.
