He has served as the Production Manager for Crossroads Publications, Discipleship Magazine/UpsideDown Magazine, Discipleship Publications International (DPI) and on the production teams of Campus Journal, Biblical Discipleship Quarterly, Bible Illustrator and others.

Toney serves as Publisher of Illumination Publishers International, and is the writer and publisher of the weekly “Behind the Music” stories and edits other weekly newsletters. Toney is happily married to Denise Leonard Mulhollan, M.D. Denise is a board-certified OB/GYN practicing in the Houston area. They reside in Spring, Texas (Northwest Houston).
